FAMILY TIES

I have been married to Doug for more than fifty years. We have five children (one deceased). As well we have eleven grandchildren. We live at "The Meadows," a place of wholeness and healing for us and those who retreat or visit. We have two cats and during the summer, we enjoy and spoil our rodeo horses.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

In 2000, I retired from active church ministry after serving three pastoral charges. Intermin ministry then provided an opportunity to serve the church in a different capacity. I continue to serve in Presbytery related duties and at present work closely with small rural congregations. I am an adjunct professor in the Long Distance Learning program at Trinity College and Theological Seminary where I enjoy relating to students from around the world. Pulpit supply, grief counselling, leading grief support groups and writing are current interests.

You might ask why I use a small j for my middle initial. It is a sign of humility. Check out the story "Come as you are to Community" in the writing section. (If it's not up yet, it will be soon.)
